The Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid is now available in Europe for order. The opportunity to secure one of Hyundai's groundbreaking cars is now possible. It is set to make waves in Europe this summer.
The Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid to be available in Europe will be powered by the same 103-horsepower 1.6-liter petrol. This is present in regular Hybrid models. However, the European Ioniq will get a more powerful 60-horsepower electric motor because of a larger 8.9kWh battery pack.
Hyundai is proud to proclaim that the Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid can run solely on electric power for as far as 63 kilometers. It is also able to accelerate from zero to 62mph in 10.6-seconds with a top speed of 110mph. Well, it is definitely not the fastest and Hyundai wants to keep it that way.
Recently, Hyundai is also pleased because of the recent spike on Ioniq Hybrid export sales. There were a total of 17,202 Ioniqs exported between January and April 2017. This is significantly higher compared to last year's 16,644 units.

The Ioniq is Hyundai's third highest in terms of exports record. It trails comfortably close behind Avante and Accent. The Hybrid model is considered more popular compared to the all-electric model and the plug-in hybrid model.
